Last night I went to the movies with a few of my friends.
I saw monsters vs Aliens. Pg. Animated.
The movie is aimed at kids but we went and saw in anyway. Also the tickets were cheaper.
I was a great movie about being your self and sticking by your friends. I love watching kid movies you don't have to stress out about the characters with hard lives because they are all fun loving. The character I loved most would have to be Bob who was a brainless blue blob. He was the best because he was just him and the gave the crowd the most laughs. :)
I'm sure going to get it on DVD.
And I ate too many lollies.
xx

Hi Annalisa,
ReplyDeleteWell, I've been going through insect web sites trying to identify the little fellow you have in your picture, but no luck so far. There are an estimated 220,000+ species of insects in Australia, so I think I'm going to call off the search.
Questions about Australia? I sure do:
-what makes Ayre's Rock so famous?
-is the word 'sheila' still used when referring to women? Is it considered derogitory?
-when is your winter and what's your weather like right now?
-oh, and what are you studying? (if you don't mind me asking).
Barry
Hmm...
ReplyDelete"I have to ask do you get bagged out about Americans heaps?"
I have to admit I'm not sure what this means Annalisa. Sometimes our languages have their own unique flavour (which is one of the things I love about talking to people from other countries).
If you can tell me what that means I'll be happy to answer you, I'm always eager to learn something new. :)

"Bagged out" means get teased.
ReplyDeleteSo therefore do Canadain people get teased my Americans?
Haha thats ok. One day I'll find someone who will knowthe insect.
-Ayre's Rock also known as Uluru is so special because it is large an ice berg with a third of it under ground, it is made of mostly sandstone, in conclusion it's a really rock rock so that makes it cool :) I think once you see it then you can really take in why it is so special, seeing the whole mass. I've been there when I was little but sadly I don't really remember it.
-"sheila" does refer to women but it isn't derogitory its perfectly fine to say.
-Out winter starts in 1st June and ends 31st August. Today was very windy and cold and also it's Autumn. By the way I live in the south of Australia 20mins away from the coast in Victoria.
-At the momnent I am studying English, Mathematic Methods, Applied Science, Studio Art VCE, Humanities, Physical Education and health, Careers and Digital Photo and Imaging.
Hope that helps
